Do you take my insurance?

We do not accept insurance directly and am therefore not an in-network provider with any insurance companies.  If you have health insurance with out of network benefits, we can provide you with a receipt to submit for reimbursement. Many plans have extensive coverage and offer generous reimbursement rates and some plans, unfortunately, are less comprehensive.  Please check with your carrier for details about your out of network coverage. Submission of a receipt does not guarantee reimbursement.

What is your cancellation policy?

24 hours notice of all cancellations is required in order to avoid paying the full session fee.  We understand that extenuating circumstances occur, and am open to discussing waiving this in certain circumstances. 

Can I speak to the therapist before my first intake appointment?

We offer a free phone consultation (up to 20 minutes) prior to the first in-person session. Call (303) 903-4305 to schedule your phone consultation.

Is there a waiting room at the office?

Yes, our suite has a waiting area. Your therapist will come meet you in the waiting area at the start of your appointment time. 

Can the therapist prescribe medication?

No, but we can recommend a medical doctor such as a psychiatrist, should you need an evaluation for medication as part of your treatment.
